Dr. Emily Bergman

Emily discovered Osteopathy when searching for a form of healthcare that focused on prevention of disease and maintenance of optimum health and wellbeing. Emily is passionate about the dynamic and holistic approach Osteopathic Medicine takes to your health. Emily completed her Undergraduate and Masters degree of Osteopathy at RMIT university, graduating dux of her year.

Her masters project researched the effects Osteopathic techniques on asthma sufferers. Since graduating in 2008, Emily has been fortunate to work with several experienced and highly respected practitioners who have allowed her to continue learning well beyond university.

As well as working in private practice, Emily is also an assistant lecturer at RMIT. She maintains her own health with regular running, pilates and personal training sessions.

Working as one of the Eltham Leisure Centre team has allowed Emily to integrate her love of fitness and sport into daily practice. As a healthcare practitioner, Emily takes great satisfaction in seeing the positive impact Osteopathic Medicine has on her client’s health and wellbeing.  Emily is a member of the Australian Osteopathic Association (AOA).
