James is an an enthusiastic and knowledgeable therapist, whose interest in both competitive and leisurely sports and exercise, and natural therapies as a form of injury prevention and treatment, led him to entering the sports and health industries.
James commenced his studies in 2008 with the AFL, Sports Medicine Australia (SMA) and Northern Melbourne Institute of Tafe (NMIT). He has had invaluable work experience with the AFL working for the Richmond Football club and more recently the Collingwood Football Club. James’s outstanding commitment to his studies and profession led to him being awarded the Australian Student Therapist of The Year.
His main interests include improving the balance between work, rest, nutrition and exercise, empowering others to look after their health, improving quality of life and increasing energy levels. His experience with elite level sports has allowed him to specialise in corrective exercise, injury prevention and pain management. James has a Senior Level Two membership cover with the Association of Massage Therapists LTD.
